Ensayos clínicos

El paciente crítico presenta unas particularidades tanto en la faceta de su asistencia clínica como en la realización de estudios de investigación. La gravedad de su situación obliga en muchos casos a la toma de decisiones rápida y con la participación de terceras personas (familiares o representantes legales). La atención a estos pacientes requiere de la colaboración de múltiples especialistas y categorías profesionales, que deben participar también en las actividades de investigación, aportando sus puntos de vista.

El grupo está compuesto por profesionales sanitarios que se dedican a la atención de estos pacientes. La visión multidisciplinar está garantizada al ser tanto médicos como enfermería los integrantes del grupo. Del mismo modo, existe una colaboración con otros grupos tanto a nivel local, como nacional e internacional.

Líneas de investigación

Prevención de las lesiones por presión. Escala de valoración COMHON (patentada por el grupo). Paquete de medidas asociada a la Escala COMHON (validación).
Seguridad del paciente. Implementación rondas de seguridad. Atención a las segundas víctimas. Atención a los cuidadores.
Infecciones nosocomiales en el paciente crítico.
Microbiota y resistoma en el paciente crítico.
Nutrición y metabolismo en el paciente crítico.
Tecnología aplicada a enfermedad cardiovascular aguda. Dispositivos en el shock cardiogénico.
Cuidados de enfermería del paciente crítico.
