La Research Communication and Promotion Unit is a team dedicated to disseminate and promote the activities, advances and scientific achievements of the Biosanitary Research Institute ibs.GRANADA.

Its main objective is to establish effective communication bridges between researchers, the scientific community, health professionals, the media and the general public. With a strategic focus, this unit is in charge of drafting Press releases, organization of events and conferences, elaboration of promotional stuff for events and maintain an active presence in the social media and other broadcast channels. In addition, it is dedicated to the creation of relevant and accessible content, such as news, articles and informative material, in order to clearly and understandably transmit the scientific advances generated from the Institute and its impact on society.

Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) of ibs.GRANADA - FIBAO

Since February 6, 2023, the ibs.GRANADA - Alejandro Otero Foundation for Biosanitary Research in Eastern Andalusia (FIBAO) belongs to the Network of Scientific Culture and Innovation Units (UCC+I Network) of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).

The Scientific Culture and Innovation Units (UCC+I) of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) act as intermediaries between the institutions that host them and the public with the main objective of promoting scientific, technological and innovation culture, through activities of various types: communication science, dissemination, training, etc.

They have become one of the main agents in the dissemination and dissemination of science and innovation in Spain, constituting a key service to improve and increase the training, culture and scientific knowledge of citizens.

The purpose of the UCC+I Network is to promote the exchange of experiences and the search for synergies between entities, which improves the quality of the products and services of the UCC+I and promotes the optimization of resources.
