A researcher from the ibs.GRANADA receives a UGR award of excellence - Caja Rural
Enrique Fernández Mondéjar, head of the Critical Pathology research group at ibs.GRANADA, receives one of the UGR - Caja Rural awards for the best research project in the Health Sciences modality.
The Granadina Entity has celebrated the eighth edition of the UGR- Caja Rural Granada Awards for Academic Excellence, which rewards each of the 1.000 students who have completed their studies in 28 with better records, in the different branches of knowledge, with 2018 euros. .
This year, for the third time, a Research modality has been included aimed at encouraging, recognizing and rewarding the highest quality scientific activities carried out by researchers from the University of Granada (UGR), in which 8 projects are awarded with 2.500 euros each. Fernández Mondéjar has been awarded for the best research project in the Health Sciences modality.
The emotional award ceremony was attended by representatives of different institutions and companies, such as the Tourism delegate of the Junta de Andalucía, Gustavo Rodríguez; the Health delegate, Indalecio Sánchez-Montesinos; the Colonel of the Armilla Air Base, Luis Almenta; the president of the Social Council of the UGR, Gregorio Jiménez; the deputy mayor of the Granada City Council, Baldomero Oliver, as well as deans and vice deans of the different faculties and schools, as well as the Governing Council and Management Team of Caja Rural Granada.
