As stated in the Convention and in the approved Scientific Project, six are the priority research areas that have been defined for the Biosanitary Research Institute of Granada, which respond to the most important health problems in the region and around the which will develop the Institute's strategic research plan. These areas are Cancer, systemic and immunological diseases, infectious and environmental diseases, endocrine and metabolic diseases, liver and digestive diseases and, lastly, neurological diseases and mental health.
