RELECOV 2.0 – Consolidation of WGS and RT-PCR activities for SARS-CoV-2 in Spain towards sustainable use and integration of enhanced infrastructure and processes in the RELECOV network
The general objective of this European project, funded by Ecdc, is to improve and increase the national capacity for mass sequencing (WGS) and/or RT-PCR techniques, focusing for this on the integration of SARS CoV 2 genomic information and the study of the antigenic behavior of the new variants and lineages. The participation of the IMIB is through the researchers of the Infectious Pathology, Clinical Microbiology and Tropical Medicine group, as well as the Bioinformatics group. Under the coordination of the ISCIII, 34 laboratories from 17 Autonomous Communities + 2 Autonomous Cities that belong to the National Network of Genomic Sequencing Laboratories (RELECOV) participate as affiliated entities
