This platform makes available to researchers advanced statistical and data mining techniques, and updated computational biology methods that allow efficient management of biological and medical data, including tools to acquire, store, organize, analyze or visualize such data.

- Genetic sequence analysis: functional annotation, search for motifs and metabolic pathways.
- Population genetics analysis (GWAS), functional genomics and systems biology (gene-gene regulation networks, protein-protein interaction networks ...).
- Next Generation Sequencing (NGS): Analysis of RNA-Seq, Chip-Seq and bisulfite sequencing experiments.
- Access to specialized databases for the consultation and extraction of large-scale data (genomic data, tissue expression ...).
- Automated analysis of clinical images and neuroimaging (CT, MRI, fMRI ...).
- Creation of classifiers using machine learning and data mining techniques.
- Data integration: Fusion and organization of data from different sources.
- Creation and customization of workflows and automated tasks.
- Advice on the bioinformatics needs and treatments necessary for the presentation of projects.
- Implementation and conducting of training courses for the use of bioinformatics tools.
- Advice on the creation of Data Management Plans.
- Punctual advice on bioinformatic analysis.
Our rates are based mainly on the amount of resources necessary to perform the agreed service, both in terms of our staff's time and in use of the platform's infrastructure. Funding for bioinformatics services can be included in collaborative project proposals or it can be paid directly as a service fee. Budgets will be personalized depending on the project and the researcher's experience in bioinformatics.
- For internal users: € 15 / hour specialized technician
- For OPIS users (Public Health Research Organizations): € 30 / specialized technical hour.
- For external users: € 50 / hour specialized technician.
