On the occasion of the celebration of the XNUMXst Symposium on Advanced Therapies and Biosanitary Technologies, Dr. Julia Buján closed the day with a keynote lecture on new artificial tissues and their role in advanced therapies. Invited by the Tissue Engineering Research Group (GIT) of the Histology Department of the Faculty of Medicine, she highlighted in her conference the importance of the cellular component in artificial tissues, as well as the uniqueness of these elements in relation to the suitability of the fabric to be replaced. On the other hand, he highly valued the set of interventions of the symposium, indicating the high level reached in the area of ​​Advanced Therapies and Biosanitary Technologies of the ibs.GRANADA.

Dr. Julia Buján is a member of the External Scientific Committee of our institute, professor of Histology at the University of Alcalá. She has been Dean and Vice Chancellor at said University, is a member of the CIBER-BBN of Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine and has been distinguished with the Commendation of the Civil Order of Alfonso X el Sabio.
