More than 350 university students participate from this Thursday in the I Congress of Biosanitary Research
More than 350 young university students participate from this Thursday until March 7 in the I Congress of Biosanitary Research Students, which will be held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Granada.
The objective of this scientific congress, organized by the Academy of Internal Students (AII) of Granada in collaboration with the AAI of Valladolid, is the promotion of scientific research among university students through the Academies of Internal Students; bring the biomedical student closer to the field of scientific congresses and stimulate participation through the exhibition of works in the form of "oral communications" and "scientific posters".
The Academy of Internal Students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Granada is a student association that emerged in October 2013, bringing together internal students who collaborate in different departments and hospitals.
Among the invited speakers are Cesar Borlongan, director of the Department of Neurosurgery and Brain Repair of the Center of Excellence for Aging and Brain Repair of the University of South Florida (United States); Bart Morlion, director of the Algiology Center of the University Hospitals of Leuven (Belgium) and Juan Miguel Redondo, director of the Department of Vascular Biology and Inflammation of the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) of the Carlos III Health Institute of Madrid.
The opening ceremony will take place this Thursday at 16,00:XNUMX p.m. in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and will be chaired by the vice-rector for Scientific Policy and Research of the UGR, María Dolores Suárez, and the dean of the Faculty of Medicine , Indalecio Sánchez-Montesinos, among others.
