More than 300 students from all over Spain meet in Granada at the first State Congress of Bioscience Students

The congress will take place from July 19 to 22, 2022, after the end of the academic year in Spanish universities.
The State Congress of Biosciences (CEEBI), which will take place in Granada between July 19 and 22, 2022, will bring together university students from all over Spain and various parts of the world. The congress, organized by the students of the University of Granada, will have more than 300 registrations that are available at biociencias.es/inscriptions.
Students will be able to enjoy numerous educational lectures in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioinformatics, biomedicine, and many other areas of the biosciences. In addition, a multitude of practical workshops will be held in laboratories so that students can be trained by the best professionals and researchers in each sector.
There will be a business forum, where the different participating entities will announce their daily work, their different tasks and the professional opportunities offered by the area of biosciences, whose relevance increases every day.
Interested attendees will have the opportunity to propose workshops and be the ones who explain and teach certain practical knowledge to the rest of the students. They will also have the opportunity to participate in the poster and micro-talk contests, where they will be able to present their own work to their peers.
Another of the opportunities offered by the CEEBI to its attendees is the visit to the coordination node of the Biobank of the Public Health System of Andalusia, one of the companies in the sector present in the province of Granada, which is located in the Health Technology Park (PTS), one of the main complexes nationwide for companies related to health and biomedical research.
Given the privileged location offered by the city of Granada, attendees will not only be able to enjoy science, but also the overwhelming cultural and artistic heritage of the Nasrid city.
