María José Sánchez Pérez, scientific director of ibsGRANADA, will receive the Gold Medal of the province of Granada
The Diputación de Granada will deliver the Honors and Distinctions 30 awards on November 2022, with which the institution distinguishes each year people, professional careers, groups, associations and institutions that work, each from their plot, for having a society better. So it has been announced the First Vice President and Deputy for the Presidency, Culture and Historical and Democratic Memory, Fátima Gómez, who highlighted that the award winners include "people who dedicate their lives to international cooperation to achieve a more just world, people who work to protect the environment, and those who excel in the fields of scientific research and teaching, in sports, music, painting, and culture; in short, culture is a transformative force in the province of Granada."

At the gala that will take place on the 30th, they will be distinguished the painter Juan Vida y the dancer 'La Moneta' as favorite sons of the province and Benito Zambrano, as adopted son. With the Gold Medal of the province they will be recognized the scientist María José Sánchez Pérez, the president of Granadown, Pilar López Garrido, Professor Margarita Birriel, the musicologist Antonio Martín Moreno and the Infoca workers.
With the Crowned Granada they will receive distinctions the cyclist Carlos Rodríguez Cano, the owner of the Cuevas de la Luz, Lourdes Brugal, the Buxus Association, the friendship association y Cooperation with Cuba "The Great Stone", the pianist and athlete José García Ruiz the soccer player José María Callejón Bueno.
