Bankia, CajaGranada Fundación and the International Association of Liquid Biopsy have signed this morning, at the Cultural Memory Center of Andalusia, a collaboration agreement that will promote the implementation of the clinical practice of precision medicine through Liquid Biopsy and access to the entire population to their benefits.
The signed agreement also seeks to promote and facilitate training, both initial and ongoing, of all experts and professionals interested in the matter, especially younger researchers and women scientists.
The collaboration agreement has been signed by the president of the CajaGranada Fundación, María Elena Martín Vivaldi, and by the representatives in Granada of the International Association of Liquid Biopsy, doctors María José Serrano Fernández and Juan José Díaz Mochón.
Also present at the signing of the agreement were Dr. José Luis García Puche, representing Genyo; Fernando Cornet, director of the Research Secretariat of the UGR, and José Antonio González, coordinator of the Bankia Communication Department in Andalusia.
During the signing of the agreement, Maria Elena Martin Vivaldi thanked Bankia for its collaboration in a basic research project in Granada, called to have an international impact and to be of the greatest use to people around the world.

Indeed, as explained by the prestigious doctor Jose Luis Garcia Puche, Liquid Biopsy is a new technique that is currently on the boil and that is going to represent a revolution in the field of oncology, since it allows knowing, in real time, how the treatments are working in each patient.
García Puche highlighted the work being done in Genyo and the importance of the Liquid Biopsy project, a field led by doctors María José Serrano and Juan José Díaz Mochón. He also stressed how important it is, for Granada, that the General Secretariat of the International Association of Liquid Biopsy remain in our city. - Promote and facilitate initial training and ongoing training for all experts and professionals interested in the matter.
- Collaborate with other companies, associations and groups that have already been created or that may be created for similar purposes in the future, to speed up their clinical application as much as possible and with all the guarantees.
- Collaboration and support for professionals and centers in developing countries and areas or with special difficulties in accessing and using these technologies so that they can be present and collaborate in the various studies, trials, works and activities that are developed in this area of so that its clinical use is as agile and fast as possible at the time.
