Researchers from the ibs.GRANADA, together with professors from the University of Granada and researchers from GENYO, have organized the I Conference on Molecular Oncology of the May 14-17, 2018 in the Auditorium of the Health Campus, which is located in the Faculty of Medicine of Granada, located at Avda. de la Investigación, 11 Granada  https: //canal.ugr.es/lugar/paraninfo-del-campus-de-la-salud-2

The objectives of the Conference are:

  • Know and understand the molecular bases of cancer.
  • Know and understand the mechanisms involved in the regulation of gene expression.
  • Recognize the main subtypes of tumors, the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
  • Know the main therapeutic strategies currently available in the treatment of cancer.

100% of the money raised (registration and 0 desk) will go to the Aladina Foundation, in its project in the Oncology area of ​​the Granada Maternal and Child Hospital.

The project to be developed at the Granada Maternal and Child Hospital will be carried out from April 2018, and will consist of the creation, decoration and installation of furniture in the following areas:

  1. Pediatric Oncohematology Hall: wall decoration and furniture.
  2. Oncology teens room: wall decoration, furniture, computers, dartboard, table football, TV, console.
  3. Games room for the little ones: wall decoration, furniture, computers, TV, console.
