TEC01-Safe Practice in the Use of Medicines
Advanced Therapies and Biomedical Technologies / IBS-TEC01 / Consolidated
The group for the study of safe practices in the use of medicines was the result of the union of several professionals belonging to the University of Granada and the UGC of Pharmacy. It was established in 2009 to deepen the study of the chemical stability of drugs under conditions of clinical use, as well as to study the genetic variants that intervene and affect the efficacy, toxicity and dosage of drugs and their application to the daily clinical practice. In addition, it was determined to also influence the study and deepening of the health results of the use of drugs. The group, made up of professionals from the health care and academic fields, has achieved an upward projection, and through the application of new technologies contributes to the application of pharmacogenetics to daily clinical and therapeutic practice, contributing to scientific knowledge.
