MP10-Translational Bioinformatics
Precision Medicine / IBS-MP10
Dr. Zwir together with Dr. Romero Zaliz and Dra. Del Val have created and currently direct a compact and interdisciplinary working group: the M4M Lab within the Soft Computing group of the UGR. Thanks to its high interdisciplinary component, the group is capable of developing computational tools and models to solve different kinds of medical and biology problems. The M4M Lab has collaborated closely with international institutions such as SRI International (USA), Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HMMI), Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis, USA), Yale University (USA), Janelia Farm (USA), and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ, Germany). The research group actively participates in teaching activities in undergraduate and graduate subjects, such as Introduction to Computational Biology Introduction to Biological and Bioinformatics Programming.
