The main objectives of the group are to identify new pharmacological targets for pain treatment, to develop new experimental models for the evaluation of pain with translational value, to deepen the knowledge of the neurochemical mechanisms involved in pain, to develop new strategies for the evaluation and treatment of pain. pain in clinic, as well as the determination of various effects of melatonin.
