E14-Preventive Medicine and Public Health
Epidemiology and Public Health / IBS-E14
Multidisciplinary team made up of researchers with training in the field of epidemiology and statistics applied to the health sciences. Research lines closely linked to the main current public health problems in the Spanish population: cancer, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, as well as the epidemiology of traffic injuries. Research focused on understanding the epidemiology of health problems of interest and associated factors from a health prevention and promotion point of view. To its own lines of research must be added its role as methodological support in the design and analysis of data to other clinical groups of IBS-Granada, the University of Granada or other institutions.
Research lines
- EPIDEMIOLOGY OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
- Epidemiology and prevention of non-communicable diseases o Maternal, child and reproductive health o Epidemiology and cancer prevention o Environmental epidemiology o Diet, lifestyles and health
Research networks
- BIOSTATNET - National Network of Biostatistics
- CIBERESP Network Biomedical Research Center Epidemiology and Public Health
