El ibs.GRANADA consider the initial and continuous as a whole, and the research and postgraduate training in particular, as a fundamental and indispensable instrument to achieve the scientific objectives of the Institute, the continuous improvement results, the incorporation of new researchers, the search for the excellence in research and its transfer and, ultimately, the development of a quality scientific activity.
For this reason, a plan is proposed aimed at knowledge promotion y development of skills and abilities necessary for research in the field of biomedical sciences, adapting to the strategic lines of research of the institute itself, and the lines defined at the regional, national and international levels.
El target of this plan is to encourage the training of professionals who develop or are going to develop their research activity within the Institute, in such a way as to guarantee a system of permanent training in research and postgraduate studies for the personnel attached to the Institute and its environment. In this sense, specific programs and collaborations will be developed for the training in research of the different health professionals who work in the biosanitary and social environment of the Institute.
The objectives of the Research and Postgraduate Training Plan of ibs.GRANADA include:
- Promote continuous training programs that guarantee the permanent updating of knowledge and the highest level of training in tools, techniques and methodologies applicable in the area of biomedical research.
- Promote mobility of researchers to facilitate their training in reference centers at national and international level, and thus contribute to raising the level of cooperation and internationalization of health research carried out in Granada.
- Promote dissemination of the research activity carried out by health professionals and researchers from the University of Granada within the Institute, regardless of whether or not they are integrated into the Institute contemplated in the communication plan.
- Promote the incorporation of new research groups in the clinical field, the regeneration of existing ones and the search for interdisciplinary cooperation in the area of health research.
- Facilitate adaptation of the Institute's researchers and professionals who assist the cultural and socioeconomic changes that occur in the research field, affecting the approach and way of facing the research process.
- Develop the culture of translation and transfer of the research process with the objective of improving the health and quality of life of the population, the economy and the progress of the peoples.
