Resounding success in the INMA project Conference
On November 20 and 21, the 14th Scientific Conference of the Childhood and Environment project, INMA, was held with great success.
This year, the CIBERESP group led by Nicolás Olea at the University of Granada was in charge of organizing the scientific meeting, held at the new Faculty of Medicine of the University of Granada. Marieta Fernández, a researcher in this group, has been the scientific director of the conference, which has had the support of the ibs.GRANADA Biosanitary Research Institute, the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Granada, the San Cecilio y Virgen de las Nieves, Ordesa and CIBERESP.
Under the title of "endocrine disruptors at INMA: lessons learned, challenges and opportunities", this edition of the INMA conference has welcomed national and international researchers from the 7 INMA cohorts: Asturias, Flix, Granada, Basque Country, Menorca, Valencia and Sabadell, who have expressed their satisfaction with the scientific quality of the presentations, as well as with the facilities of the new Technological Campus of Health Sciences, where the Faculty of Medicine, the PTS Hospital and part of the ibs facilities are located. During these days, the latest results of the project have been presented through presentations and poster communications. The external researchers who evaluate the trajectory of INMA, Remy Slama and Mª Dolores Gómez Roig, who have also participated in the meeting, have positively valued the achievements obtained and have highlighted the contribution and enthusiasm of the many junior researchers (pre and postdoctoral) who are participating in the project.
