Systems biology is the study of biological systems that it considers to be made up of elements that interact in a complex way: genes, proteins, RNA, metabolites ...
Integrating traditional reductionist-basic and black-box-clinical approaches to human pathophysiology, which have proven insufficient to understand and successfully treat many diseases, Anaxomics implements systems biology through its TPMS technology, a top-down approach ) that molecularly models human pathophysiology in silico, integrating in a map of the human functional interactome the molecular information available in the scientific literature with the experimental information generated by the researcher, with special interest in the clinical translation of the results.
We are backed by nine years of experience with large pharmaceutical and biotech companies, our participation as partners in nine European FP7 projects, and more than 30 research projects for national and international researchers of the highest level.

In this Seminar, we will present different cases in which this technology has allowed significant advances in research, such as the discovery of biomarkers, the repositioning of drugs, the identification of therapeutic targets, or the description of molecular therapeutic and pathophysiological mechanisms.
