As part of the actions in Public Purchase of Innovation that the Ministry of Health and Consumption is carrying out through the Andalusian Public Foundation for Progress and Health, we invite you to participate in the Conference to relaunch the Preliminary Consultations to the Market -CPM - for the PIBICRA and CAR-T Andalucía projects, both financed by the European Union through the FEDER-Andalucía 2021-2027 Funds.
This online session will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Once the relaunch day has been held and the call for CPMs has been published in the profile of the contractor of this Foundation, two face-to-face workshops will be organized on March 28 and 29 in Seville, for PIBICRA and CAR-T Andalucía respectively, to which Entities interested in presenting their proposals to each CPM may attend.
The PIBICRA and CAR-T Andalucía projects, current benchmarks in avant-garde medicine, seek to obtain developments with a very high impact for citizens, by incorporating disruptive technological solutions into the Andalusian Public Health System that improve the effectiveness of treatments and that reduce the costs associated with them.
The PIBICRA project seeks to identify Artificial Intelligence solutions based on Big Data for cancer screening in Andalusia, improving the clinical and economic results of screening in the four types of cancer for which screening programs already exist, and in cancers of special impact. on the health of citizens, such as prostate cancer.
The CAR-T Andalucía project aims to identify developments related to CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cells), a type of immunotherapy that represents a before and after in the way of approaching the treatment of various types of resistant hematological tumors or in relapse, and it is estimated that in the coming years they will also have a great impact on the management of solid tumors. The developments will aim to improve the effectiveness of the treatments performed and reduce their cost.
The CPMs consist of an open dialogue with the market and their objective is to collect the necessary information on the technologies associated with each of the projects for the call for a possible tender, by virtue of the provisions of article 115 of Law 9/ 1017, of November 8, of Public Sector Contracts. This tender will be carried out in accordance with the Public Procurement of Innovation models that will be defined based on the estimated maturity of the technologies, in accordance with the provisions of Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of February 26, 2014 on public procurement.
