Multidisciplinary meeting to face the problem of diseases of environmental origin.
Various sources of exposure to many environmental factors are known, which enter the body through the digestive, respiratory, dermal and/or percutaneous routes. Once inside the body, they will produce different effects, with variable window periods from the time of exposure.

There is conclusive and sufficient evidence that shows how environmental factors affect our health throughout life and cause diseases.

The results of the WHO report confirm that at least 23% of global deaths and 26% of deaths in children under five years of age are due to modifiable environmental factors:

Deaths from noncommunicable diseases attributable to environmental factors have increased in the last decade.
In Europe, the highest percentage of deaths attributable to environmental factors is due to non-communicable diseases.
These diseases can be prevented through healthier environments.
The environment is a solid platform for good public, community and individual health.
Environmental management can play a crucial role in protecting people's health.
Reducing the burden of environmental-related morbidity and mortality is possible through cost-effective interventions.
Within the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), there are goals related to health, but these are located alongside environmental areas and other sectoral areas that strongly influence health.
These will be some of the lines that will be explored during the meeting
