Application for incorporation of new groups

To request the incorporation as a research group to the ibs.GRANADA, the following process must be followed:
Phase 1 - Application and individual evaluation
El Main investigator of the applicant group must send the following documentation:
- Application of incorporation of the group signed.
Download Group Incorporation Application - El Updated CVN of all the members that will be part of the group. Only those researchers who meet the requirements established in the ibs.GRANADA professional career model approved by the Governing Council may join ibs.GRANADA research groups.

Researchers who do not have a Doctorate are incorporated as Researchers in Training as long as they are enrolled in a doctoral program at the University of Granada. - Work program for the next 5 years with deliverable results.

- Documentation must be sent to the attention of the Scientific Directorate at info@ibsgranada.es, indicating in the subject New group incorporation request.
Once evaluated by the Management Team, and if the incorporation of the new group is considered appropriate, we proceed to the next phase.
Phase 2 - Evaluation of the research group
The Technical Secretariat of ibs.GRANADA will evaluate:
- La scientific production of the last 5 years of all members of the research group (research projects, published articles, EECC, Patents, Directed Theses, Contracts, etc.)
- El group's work program for the next 5 years and its alignment with the Shared Scientific Project .
Once the information has been evaluated, the Technical Secretariat will issue a report that will include the proposed Group typology to be submitted for consideration by the Direction team, Internal Scientific Committee and the External Scientific CommitteeThe typology of groups, as well as the requirements that each typology must meet, can be consulted in the following procedure:

Phase 3 - Presentation to the Governing Council
- The Scientific Director presents the group's candidacy along with the previous reports to the Governing Council for approval.
Phase 4 - Communication
- The Scientific Director will communicate to the Responsible Researcher the result of the application.
