Biomedical research is an implicit and habitual activity in the context of healthcare. It is not possible to carry out quality research without an excellent medical practice, therefore, it is necessary to guarantee the quality and integrity of the researchers and the institutional system that supports the research. For this purpose, ibs.GRANADA has implemented a Quality planas well as a Guide to Ethics and Good Research Practices .
With the Quality plan is to involve all the staff of ibs.GRANADA to develop a research of excellence, both basic and clinical, resulting in the generation and transfer of knowledge applicable to clinical practice, based on a system of continuous improvement.
GRANADA R&D and Innovation QUALITY POLICY
ibs.GRANADA is committed to Excellence in R&D and Innovation, and the transfer of knowledge, through a process of continuous improvement within a cooperative/multidisciplinary environment, powered by alliances with other Institutions.
To this end, the Institute's activities are aimed at meeting the needs of the people who use it, applying updated scientific knowledge, using available resources equitably and efficiently, and with the commitment, participation, satisfaction and development of all Institute professionals. A part of this R&D and Innovation policy is the motivation of all staff, promoting creativity and teamwork, as well as the continuous review of work procedures in order to capture new ideas. In this way, ibs.GRANADA seeks continuous improvement of its management system as well as its relationship with interested parties.
The R&D and Innovation quality policy will be in agreement and coordinated with:
- Royal Decree 279/2016, of June 24, on accreditation of biomedical or health research institutes.
- Standard UNE 166002 Management of R&D and Innovation.
- Regional, National and European R&D and Innovation Guidelines.
