The Biosanitary Research Institute organizes a conference on advances in precision medicine
In this meeting held at the Hospital Universitario Clínico San
Cecilio, a multidisciplinary and comprehensive approach to medicine has been carried out
precision, with sessions on autoimmune diseases, genetic bases and
gene expression, the role of the microbiota and epigenetics among others.
The Biosanitary Research Institute
de Granada (ibs.GRANADA) has organized this Friday a conference that addresses
the latest advances in precision medicine, promoted by the Department of Medicine
of Precision of the ibs.GRANADA, whose managers are Dr. Manuel Muñoz and Dr.
Julio Gálvez, aims to present the lines of work focused on this
scope carried out by the groups of
research of the Granada institute, which includes groups from the Hospital
Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital, Cínico San University Hospital
Cecilio, the University of Granada and the Andalusian School of Public Health.

Antonio López Escámez; the managing director of FIBAO and manager of the ibs.GRANADA,
Raquel Martínez Soriano; as well as those responsible for the Medicine Area of
GRANADA ibs precision.
In this scientific meeting it has been counted
with the presence of Mauricio García Franco, manager of initiatives of
joint international programming of the Carlos III Health Institute. They have also
scientists from all the institutions that make up the ibs.GRANADA participated
and a multidisciplinary and comprehensive approach to the medicine of
precision by researchers from the different groups that make up the area of
ibs.GRANADA precision medicine.
This meeting open to all
citizenship, has been an opportunity of the first magnitude to know the
different scientific projects in precision medicine that develop the
research groups of excellence of the ibs.GRANADA.
