The ibs.GRANADA inaugurates the Science Week with an activity at the utrasonics Lab
Several groups of students from IES Cristo Rey have had the opportunity to visit the utrasonics Lab where the TEC-12 Biomechanics group from the ibs.GRANADA institute carry out their research work.
Different groups of scientists from the institute have been involved in this XIX Andalusian Science Week that is being celebrated in Granada in style with almost 30 different activities.
The ibs.GRANADA has activities almost daily throughout Science Week, which is being held with resounding success. This Monday began the conscience coffee and the workshops in the "Ultrasonics Lab" laboratory of the TEC-12 Biomechanics group of the ibs.GRANADA institute by Dr. Guillermo Rus. High school students were shown the new disease detection techniques, as well as various multidisciplinary projects that are being developed in this laboratory, such as the study of ultrasound mechanics in soft tissues, nonlinear radiation mechanisms, inverse problems probabilistic and predictive inference, 3D bioprinting, prototyping of sensors for diagnosis of cancer or preterm birth.
