The ibs.GRANADA opens Science Week 2020 with a coffee with science on sterility and assisted reproductive techniques
A group of students from the IES Pedro Soto de Rojas in Granada have had the opportunity this morning to attend the coffee with science entitled "children better one by one", given by Dr. Ana Clavero belonging to the research group TEC14-HUMAN REPRODUCTION .
The students had the opportunity to discuss sterility and the existence of a dissociation between social age versus ideal biological age to be a mother. They have learned about the different assisted reproductive techniques that are used and what we can expect from them. The main line of research of the Human Reproduction laboratory, on Safety and quality in Assisted Reproduction, has also been addressed.
Dr. Ana Clavero has participated in other years in the Science Week where, in addition to this intervention, it was possible to visit the facilities of the embryology and andrology laboratory of the Human Reproduction Unit of the HU Virgen de las Nieves de Granada, which due the COVID-19 epidemic this year has not been possible.
