After the success of this activity in 2021, today, November 8, 2022, the activity entitled “Do we really know what we eat? The importance of food labeling”, organized by ibs.GRANADA and taught by Dr. Daniel Hinojosa Nogueira, researcher of the group E07-Research in Environmental Health and Childhood.

The activity has dealt with the labeling of food provides and all the necessary information so that the consumer can understand the product he is consuming. Consumers often do not really know how to read this label, which is a challenge when choosing between similar products. Every day, the market is taking over mobile APPs, which through different labels classify food between healthy or not. Many times these classifications are not entirely correct or use confusing criteria. This workshop explained how to read nutrition labeling correctly and also some applications have been compared and if their assessment of the labeling is correct or not.
