The ibs.GRANADA bets on a Night of the researchers full of activities
Several groups of scientists from the Biosanitary Research Institute of Granada have been involved in this European Night of researchers that has been held in Granada this Friday, September 24
The ibs.GRANADA has had activities throughout the European Researchers' Night, which have been held with great success. In this 2021 edition, the Istituto has participated with a total of 18 activities, spread over 4 different stands: ibs.GRANADA stand, Kids Corner, European Corner and Microencuentros.
Last Wednesday and Thursday the Institute already carried out online activities for ESO students of the Caja Granada School, with two activities on biomarkers in cancer and skin care.
One of the strong bets of the ibs.GRANADA in this 2021 edition, has been to have its own stand, shared with the Andalusian School of Public Health, as well as its participation in a Kids Corner stand where workshops and experiences for children have been held uninterruptedly.
In the words of the scientific director of ibs.GRANADA, Maria José Sánchez, we are almost 1000 researchers y The Institute wants to be closer and closer to the citizens of Granada, disseminating all the knowledge of excellence that it generates and showing the advances in research and innovation. It is essential that people know what we do in health research in Granada. All scientific areas and some platforms of the ibs.GRANADA have organized activities to bring science closer to the public related to cancer, dermatology, nephrology, medicines of the future, artificial cornea, rehabilitation of bone fractures, tinnitus or endocrine disruptors, among others.
All the scientists who have participated in the night organized by the ibs.GRANADA, belong to the centers attached to the institute, the Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital, the San Cecilio Clinical University Hospital, the University of Granada and the Andalusian School of Public health.
