The Biomedical Research Center of the UGR celebrates its XNUMXst Scientific Conference
The objective of this event is to improve the knowledge of the research lines that are developed in the center and to reinforce the interactions between member groups
The Biomedical Research Center of the University of Granada (CIBM) will celebrate this Wednesday, June 21, its first Scientific Conference. The activity is internal, for members of the CIBM, and aims to improve knowledge of the lines of research that are developed in the center and strengthen the interactions between member groups. 139 CIBM researchers have registered, and 121 communications will be presented (55 orally and 66 as a poster).
The sessions will begin at 10 in the morning, and will not serve exclusively to present research results, but will also publicize lines, available technologies or any information that each researcher considers relevant and wishes to share with the rest of the participants. All members of the CIBM are invited to the event, from doctoral students to senior researchers, since it is intended to reinforce the knowledge and interaction of the research groups.
The CIBM includes research groups from various University Research Institutes: Biopathology and Regenerative Medicine, Biotechnology, Neurosciences "Federico Olóriz," and Nutrition and Food Technology "José Matáix," in addition to the Natural Products Pharmacology and Environmental Medicine group.
At 10 am in the CIBM Conference Room, the I Scientific Conference of the Center for Biomedical Research will be inaugurated by the rector of the University of Granada, Pilar Aranda Ramirez; the manager, Maria del Mar Holgado Molina; the vice-rector for Research and Transfer; Enrique Herrera Viedma; the Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate and Graduate Studies, Maria Lopez Jurado Romero de la Cruz; the director of Research Centers and Institutes and Own Plan, Fernando Cornet Sanchez del Aguila; the director of the Office for the Transfer of Research Results, Jesus Banqueri Ozáez; the director of the Center for Scientific Instrumentation, Francisco Romero Mora, as well as the director of the CIBM, Francisco Vives Montero, Among other authorities.
