Researchers and professionals from the Andalusian public health system will take their scientific advances to the streets in a new edition of the European Researchers' Night, which will be held on September 30 in the different capitals of the autonomous community.
In its fifth call and under the slogan "Women and men who do science for you", more than a thousand researchers from 15 scientific institutions -including Andalusian universities-, led by the Discover Foundation, participate. The Ministry of Health of the Junta de Andalucía has provided the scientific community with the necessary resources for the development of a health research activity that improves the quality of life of citizens. In this sense, the Health Research and Innovation Strategy, which began in 2006 and has been recently renewed until 2018, has made this ideal scenario possible for professionals who wish to investigate.
The Andalusian Public Progress and Health Foundation, an entity dependent on the Ministry of Health, supports and manages research and innovation in the Andalusian public health system and provides support to centers, programs and projects in which scientific knowledge applied to health is generated .
