MP23-Critical Pathology
Precision Medicine / IBS-MP23
The group is made up of intensive care physicians from various intensive care units covering the different aspects of critical pathology and we are open to collaborating with other groups. We do not have research contracts, so all the members of the group have a significant healthcare burden.
Research lines
- Alternatives in the treatment of intracranial hemorrhage
- Therapeutic alternatives in ischemic heart disease (fibrinolysis vs primary angioplasty).
- Platelet antiaggregation in ischemic heart disease
- Cardiovascular
- Echocardiography in the critical patient.
- Drug efficacy during cardiopulmonary bypass (ECMO)
- Epidemiology of severe trauma
- Evaluation of aortic valve replacement procedures (surgical or percutaneous approach).
- Identification of new cardiovascular risk markers
- Avoidable traumatic mortality
- Neurocritical
- New scenarios in the use of ECMO (asystole, CPR)
- Nutrition in critical patients.
- Prevention of recidivism in trauma
- Procedures and nutritional assessment during artificial nutrition.
- Results and quality of life in patients undergoing valve replacement
- Revascularization in Ischemic STROKE
- Severe trauma
